Students at New College Nottingham (ncn) have wowed audiences with their performance of the Little Shop of Horrors musical at ncn Clarendon Community Theatre.
An irreverent take on the genre of musical theatre, Little Shop of Horrors follows the fortunes of the unfortunate Seymour Krelborn – a florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood.
This collaborative theatre piece involved staff and students from four separate courses at ncn including Level 3 acting, musical theatre and production. Students created all aspects of the show, from the lighting and sound, set design and costumes right through to the event’s posters and programmes.
