Skills Academy Members SOLT and English National Opera (ENO) have one again joined forces with Mouse Trap, Masterclass and the National Skills Academy for Creative & Cultural to offer up a unique glimpse into the ‘behind the scenes’ world of theatre.

TheatreCraft gives you the opportunity to explore the many off-stage skills involved in staging a production through workshops, talks, demonstrations and one-to-one advice sessions.

Leading theatres and top theatre practitioners will be on hand to explain how you can get involved and give further insight into career options in our TheatreCraft Marketplace. It’s informal, fun, interactive and packed with information and ideas. Come and find out what it takes to build a career beyond the stage.

TheatreCraft 2011 will be open to individuals age 17-25, whether just starting out or moving to the next stage in their careers, and is the ideal opportunity to focus on how to get where you want to be in theatre or try something new.

Workshop sessions will be a combination of talks from industry experts, panel discussions, one to one advice and hands-on activities to introduce you to a range of exciting career paths. 

TheatreCraft is also ideal for School and College students studying the non-performance areas of Theatre.
