Transition is a common concern for all those who work with young people and young adults with learning disabilities. This one-day symposium is a rare opportunity to get together and share experience and learn something new.

Moving on Up, Stages of Transition: A Symposium at Birmingham Hippodrome on the 10 November will look at the role theatre can have in supporting the transition of children and young people with learning disabilities. It will provide evidence of how the approaches developed by shyster.inc and Birmingham Hippodrome have made a difference to confidence, communication and life skills, all of which are crucial for successful pathways into life.
