Summer can only mean one thing - raising the room for outdoor festivals and concerts. Our Founder Colleges will have exclusive access to the set up and running of some of the UK's premier music stages, care of our Music Industry Liaison Officer Steve Cheney, throughout the summer.

The list of sites has increased since last Summer, and students will once again go backstage and find out how the stages are run from the people on the ground. These include the main stages at Festival Republic dates – Glastonbury, Leeds, Latitude and Big Chill -along with Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire at Hyde Park, and The Download and Wireless Festivals.

Last year’s events demonstrated the range of roles needed to get the bands on stage – often with a quick turnaround between acts - and left students enthused about this important aspect of the live music industry. We hope that this year will be even more inspiring.
