New College Nottingham (ncn) is a vibrant, cosmopolitan college located in the heart of a great student city. It is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK, offering an extensive range of full-time and part-time courses ranging from pre-entry through to degree-level study.

The ncn Clarendon Academy of Performing Arts & Music features two industry standard theatres (capacity 200 and 80) with full box office facilities.  A newly commissioned full-size lighting lab for technical theatre training complements the existing set construction workshops and costume design studios.

There are two professional recording studios linked through to performance areas, and a twelve-station fully equipped training studio for developing and recording the sonic arts, as well as space and facilities for music performance.

The ncn Lace Market School of Art, Design, Fashion & Media, based in the historic Lace Market area of the city centre, offers professional facilities including a radio station and TV studio, as well as studios and workshops to support a full range of practical activities.

The College employs qualified educators and trainers, as well as professionally trained practitioners, all of whom are experienced and active in their particular field.  ncn is flexible and responsive to the education and training needs of the creative industries.
