The College achieved the Maxtrix Standard for information, advice and guidance and its exam and course results consistently lead education providers in Somerset.

Located in the heart of Somerset, Bridgwater College is close to the town of Bridgwater and minutes away from the M5. Other centres include a Land-based Campus in nearby Cannington, with outreach centres in Minehead, Yeovil and Paignton.

Over 17,000 full and part-time students access a truly comprehensive curriculum, supported by over 1,000 staff.  Students come from Somerset and surrounding counties, as well nationally and internationally.  Opportunities exist at all levels of study, from School links and Diplomas through to Honours Degrees and the College is one of very few public sector colleges offering the International Baccalaureate.   Bridgwater College works closely with regional and national employers and has an excellent track record providing certificated and bespoke training solutions for business.

Bridgwater College maintains a significant investment programme and since incorporation has spent some £27m on improvements and its estate including a £2 million Construction Centre, a £7million Health and Fitness Centre and a £2m Animal Management Centre. Projects in development include an Energy Centre and professional Performing Arts Centre.
