In preparation for our Creative Choices careers events taking place across England in October and November, staff from theatres and live music venues from Birmingham to Bromley and from Salisbury and Southend gathered at the Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch last week for our annual Train the Trainer event. 

Working together with the National Apprenticeship Service, we have agreed an incentive for those of our members who are small businesses (employing less than 250 staff), but want to take on their first apprentice.

Founder College student winners have been announced as part of the Royal Opera House’s annual Design Challenge, showcasing the future creative talent in design.

Amersham & Wycombe College Film and television students were in filming nirvana this month, having been asked to record part of a promotional video for the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy with self-made multi-millionaire Peter Jones in the spotlight.

The camera crew comprised Elliott Leigh, a BND Film & Television Year 2 student and Russell Thompson, a BND Film & Television Year 1 student.  The college’s hair and beauty students were also in on the action at the venue in Marlow, having been called in to provide the make-up prior to filming.
